Dora, Dora, Dora the explora! What?
I know this is weird but, has anyone ever watched Dora the Explorer? (I thought so). Well I don’t think it’s very practical. Here’s why…
- OK she goes into volcanoes and mud pits. But when she gets home her parents are like, “Dora, you’re home. Let’s have a fiesta! Ay ay ay!” OK where’s the discipline in that, she goes in a VOLCANOE!
- She spends her time talking to a monkey that supposedly “talks”. Does this girl have no friends? Does she need therapy? She could have a fiesta with her family but noooo, she has to spend her time talking to a monkey.
- Where does this girl live? Mexico? Becuase last time I checked Mexico doesn’t have Cake Mountains, and giant, red chickens.
- A giant arrow follows her around. Does anyone else find that weird? I do, if an arrow was following me around I’d be a little scared. I mean c’mon, she’ll ask, “Where’s the boat?” and a giant arrow comes out from behind the bushes and clicks on the boat (which is like right in front of her). What is that thing? Is it a spy arrow? Stalker arrow? Whose the master mind controlling the arrow?
- She talks to and meets these weird breeds of animals. She’s got some pink chinchillas, purple penguins, giant red chickens. And worst of all she’s got this rabid fox who follows her around(Is he working together with the arrow?). So the fox, named Swiper, tries to steal the magic jewels(Where does she get these things? I’d really like some jewels to Dora.). But Swiper always gets caught and can’t steal the jewels, because Dora and the monkey, named Boots, always says, “Swiper no swiping.” and that gets rid of Swiper(Ooh you’re in trouble now.)
- She meets extinct animals! She talks to dinosaurs! Aren’t they extinct? Does she have a time machine? Where does she get the money for a time machine? Was it theft?
- And lastly, she forces people to do things they dont want to do! For instance, “Everyone climb the magic mountain, climb! Climb! Climb!” she yells at the kids to climb the mountains. F.Y.I Dora, I don’t want to climb the stinking mountiain!

That’s why Dora the Explorer is not practical at all!
